Understanding Wood Furnaces

G&G Sales & Service is an authorized dealer for Central Boiler Outdoor Wood Furnaces.  Not only do we sell the furnaces, but we also install them all year round and service them as needed.

The Central Boiler Classic Models are engineered to be the most efficient outdoor wood furnaces available while providing the best durability, low maintenance features, and an appealing fit and finish.

The Central Boiler Outdoor Wood Furnaces are just that, wood furnaces located outdoors near your home.  Here's how it works in simple terms:
  • The furnaces burn wood, the burning wood heats a reservoir of water which is piped into your home through insulated underground ThermoPEX piping.
  • If your home has a forced air furnace in place a heat exchanger transfers the heat to your existing furnace and the fan system circulates the warm air.
  • Radiant baseboard and radiant in-floor heating systems also work great with this type of furnace and in those cases the warmed water is directly circulated into the systems.
  • Some customers utilize the warmed water fto heat pools and hot tubs, and their household hot water.
  • You have many options to get excellent heating while saving money.

Why Burn Wood?
  • Eliminate your heating bills-by making your own wood or burning scrap wood
  • Benefit our environment-unlike systems that rely on fossil fuels, wood is a totally renewable resource.  Burning wood releases the same amount of carbon dioxide as the tree would rotting on the forest floor, unlike fossil fuels when burned release carbon dioxide which would otherwise not enter our atmosphere.
  • Enjoy a comfortable warm home-heating with wood gives you the opportunity to keep your home nice and warm during the cold months of the year without emptying your bank account.
